We have represented mailers and trade associations before the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) in virtually every major postal rate and classification case since 1984, and litigated the first functionally equivalent negotiated service agreement.
Also, we have played critical roles in litigating, negotiating, and settling general postal rate cases, and we have spearheaded several federal appellate efforts. We have appeared before the Postal Rate Commission as both witnesses and advocates, which gives us a unique perspective.
Prior to joining the firm, our firm’s lead postal attorney, Robert Brinkmann, spent many years as an in-house counsel managing rate case efforts with budgets in excess of a million dollars per case. Thanks to that experience, he understands the financial challenges of participating in PRC proceedings and is sensitive to clients’ budgetary concerns.
